Payless Closets is locally owned and operated. Fred Renfro has worked in the construction industry for three decades, and has owned Payless Closets since 2001. He, along with his daughter, Mimi Renfro-Rodriguez, work together as a team to provide affordable custom closet and storage systems to homeowners throughout the Bay Area.

Every closet is as unique as its owner and there are many variables that must be considered during the design process:

• Is the closet space to be shared with another person?
• Does the client want mostly hanging space, or do they need more drawers and shelving space?
• Is the area tall enough to provide double hanging?

These are some of the questions that Mimi, the Closet Designer, asks. Mimi’s experience gives her the expertise and insight to create closet space that solves each client’s storage problems and fit into their existing décor.
